Now you are on the right track.
You have bought an elliptical trainer and you are ready to
exercise rigorously after you come home from work.
Elliptic training is probably the best thing
that you can do for your body, as elliptical machines will
allow you to work different parts and muscles of your body
without the impact of the garden on your knees and
joints. (If you don’t have an elliptical you can always
run and exercise outdoors but the impact on your knees and
joints can create problems especially if you are past the
middle age.)
There are various types of elliptical training suggested
workouts that you can perform. First, you will need to

cardiovascular workouts that will allow you to work your heart

The first type of work out is
cardiovascular workout. In this type of elliptical
training, you start training on the RPE scale (Rate of
Perceived Exertion) of three. Thus, this minimal start up
training will allow you to start toning your cardiovascular
system.
You will start at RPE 3 in the beginning of the workout and
then you will gradually increase the resistance level up to RPE
level 6 with 5 minutes intervals in each level between 3 and
6. Especially for beginners it is recommended that you
use this program for 28 to 30 minutes.
After your cardiovascular system adjusts to this level of
workout with the elliptical, you can gradually increase the
total time of the workout up to 64 minutes. This type of
training is absolutely the best for your cardiovascular system
and your heart endurance levels will improve considerably after
performing this exercise. However, like all fitness
programs you should be careful in rigorous workouts especially
if you have a pre-existing heart condition. In those
instances, you should definitely consult your physician before
commencing to workout on your elliptical. Here is the RPE
scale that you can use for your cardiovascular workout to
analyze yourself.

The second type of suggested workout for elliptical training is
cross-country training. This allows you to work all parts of
your muscles so that you get a more natural workout. This
type of workout is quite simple as you just have to place your
elliptical in front of a window or in front of your TV with a
natural hike out vide6. Then you just use one of the
programs for natural hiking in the woods and you continue
evenly for an hours worth of time. These cross-country
training exercises and workouts with your ellipticals will
allow you to experience wide range of motions and thus you
would be working out all of your body muscles for general
fitness. Also cross-country training workout with your
elliptical is perfect for increasing the general endurance of
your body. However, like the cardio vascular workout
above, you should be careful before committing yourself to a
rigorous exercise program and you should consult your
physician.
The last type of suggested workouts for the elliptical
trainer is for those stay home moms and women to just shape up
their bodies for general muscle toning and fitness for beauty
purposes. You choose the programs that allow you to use
the handlebars more rigorously in tandem with the pedals.
These types of exercises and elliptical workouts are perfect
for losing that belly fat. Although these training
exercises will not do very much for your general fitness they,
will allow you to burn those unnecessary calories and these
workouts will target your belly fat for better tummy fitness
and toning. You can lose as much as 800 calories per hour
with this training program. However, no matter which
workout that you choose, all of the suggested elliptical
